Enjoying the World
around Us
Recreational activities are a vital part
of life. Residents plan and participate in a wide range of
activities including bowling, softball, fishing, and
gardening. Going to movies, concerts, theme parks, state parks
and joining other shared adventures is a common experience of
D&S residents.
Helping Others
Many D&S residents volunteer their
time and skills to benefit the community by working with
organizations such as the Humane Society, Meals on Wheels, area Food
Banks, local nursing homes, and the Special Olympics.
