Facilities
The D&S Residential Support Program
offers nice, spacious, well-built homes in established and
conveniently located neighborhoods. The houses are either
owned or managed by D&S Residential Services to help ensure
stability and quality surroundings over an extended period of time.
Sleeping Accomodations
D&S Residential Services
strongly supports the need of privacy for each
individual. Each HCS group home resident has the option
of having his or her own private bedroom. Quality
bedroom furniture is provided for each resident if needed.
Living Areas
D&S Residential recognizes
that social activity is an essential part of everyday
life. D&S group homes offer large common living
areas to encourage group activities such as games, TV viewing,
video-game playing, social events, and just talking over the
events of the day. D&S Residential provides quality,
well-appointed furniture and appliances for the shared areas
in each house.

Meals
Meal planning, grocery shopping,
cooking, and clean-up are some commonly shared
responsibilities and activities in all homes.
"Family" meals are a tradition at D&S
Residential and all group homes have an adequate dining area
for the enjoyment of the residents at mealtime or for special
occasions with family and friends.
Transportation
Being "on the go" is a
normal way of life for our residents. To support the
outside activities of the residents, D&S
Residential provides
each home with a van or car to supplement public
transportation. Transportation may include rides to
supportive employment, vocational training, school, medical
appointments, shopping, movies, sporting events, concerts,
rodeos, carnivals, amusement parks, community events and other
activities.
