D&S Community Services offers additional support to help promote
good personal hygiene and a safe household environment by supplying
the following items:
- An emergency "power failure" battery-operated light for the
bedroom
- Hand Sanitizer for use during the cold & flu season
- Toll free phone number to contact D&S for assistance
- A sturdy, laminated calendar for recording medical
appointments and other social service information
- A "Welcome Kit" that includes a variety of
personal care items:
- Bath Towel
- Hand Towel
- Wash Cloth
- Bar of Soap
- Toothbrush & Tooth Paste
D&S also supports the clients we serve by providing the following
resources:
- Full-time Program Coordinator
- Full-time “Start of Service” staff
- Existing pool of available caregivers
- Full-time RN
- D&S staff readily available to meet for consultation with
case managers
