Background
D&S, founded in 1991 and serving the Knoxville area since 2001, is
an established provider of community-based, individualized services
for persons with developmental disabilities. Working in cooperative
partnership with the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and
Developmental Disabilities (TDMHDD) and the Tennessee Department of
Finance and Administration, Division of Mental Retardation Services,
the company has developed a wide range of offerings to assist and
promote individuals in achieving higher levels of independence and
self-determination in their daily lives.
