Personal Assistance is provided to individuals that reside with their families or in their own residences. The services include supporting the individual in all activities of daily living allowing the individual to remain in their family home or to live independently in their own home in the community of their choice. D&S staff provide these services throughout the day or night based on the individual's needs and the plan of care. These support services can be in the consumer's home or in the community. Services could include:
- Transportation
- Housekeeping
- Assistance with dressing and personal hygiene
- Meal preparation
- Assisting the consumer with eating
- Assistance with medication administration
- Helping the consumer achieve inclusion in community
activities and outings.
