Personal Care Services (PCS) are provided to assist
the Enrollee with:
- Activities of daily living
- Related essential household tasks
- Other activities that enable the Enrollee to remain in the
home, as an alternative to Nursing Facility care
These Personal Care Services include the following:
- Assistance with activities of daily living like
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Personal hygiene
- Toileting
- Feeding
- Dressing
- Ambulation
Also included are:
- Assistance with cleaning that is an integral part of
personal care and is essential to the health and welfare of the
enrollee
- Assistance with maintenance of a safe environment
