Fostering Our Future
 These incredible, awesome people,
Which you care for every day.
Are becoming stronger men and women,
Because your home is where they stay.
You steer them toward success
And help them as they learn.
And when they face their challenges,
It’s you to whom they turn.
You nurture them and keep them safe,
And you handle all their fears.
They learn to trust and flourish
As the days turn into years.
You fill out countless forms for us,
And meet deadlines with a smile.
You juggle the many tasks at hand,
Always going the extra mile!
You’ve weathered many changes,
While D&S evolved and grew.
Yet you’ve stayed the course with us,
And we’re thankful to still have you.
Because you are the best provider,
For the men and women we proudly serve.
And the best of all providers,
Is exactly what they deserve!!
With every day that passes,
We hope you understand
How dear you are to us,
Our future is in your hands.
Robn Traugott is our San Antonio Area Director. She truly runs a caring and nurturing program. She wrote this poem as she was recognizing our Foster Care Providers during her last quarterly meeting. We at D&S are very grateful for the commitment and dedication of our wonderful Foster Care Providers throughout the state of Texas.
